Residential Asbestos Removal
Services In Atlanta

Asbestos Removal Services

For many years, insulating materials were made from asbestos, a naturally occurring mineral fiber that was discovered to cause lung cancer along with many other health hazards.

Although it is no longer used in most countries, many pre-1990 homes and structures around Atlanta still contain building materials with these fibers. In fact, there are no safe amounts of asbestos to have in your home. If you think your home has materials that may contain asbestos, call us immediately for testing and removal. When hazardous materials are discovered on your property, we will securely remove and dispose of them after conducting a thorough inspection.

When we’re done, we’ll provide you with documentation of every step taken to eliminate the problem on your property, so you know exactly what was done. No fiber from this dangerous mineral will put your family at risk, so you can rest easy. In order to safeguard both yours and ours, our licensed asbestos contractors are here to help.

To ensure your safety and health, it’s important that you become aware of the true risks and seek our advice from certified professionals. No matter the scale of the project, Georgia Environmental offers the same high-quality service to all its customers. We take great pride in the services we offer and are dedicated to finishing projects on time while continuing to regulate quality, safety, and budget. Make an informed choice regarding your home by giving us a call today.

The Georgia Environmental Approach

With our innovative techniques, Georgia Environmental has long been a pioneer in the removal of asbestos-containing materials. We developed and use the “FiberstopTM Foam Containment System,” or the “Georgia Environmental Approach. The Georgia Environmental Approach is covered by United States patent numbers 7,445,676 and 7,285,172.

The Georgia Environmental Approach, a wet removal method recognized by the EPA, regularly results in working conditions that are far below the permissible exposure limit. Most asbestos-containing materials can be removed without a great deal of trouble, cost, or need for negative pressure containment systems or extended building shutdowns.

The Georgia Environmental approach makes asbestos removal substantially more affordable and less intrusive. To stop asbestos fibers from dispersing into the air, we employ foam that is applied to all the material’s surfaces, making sure that it is properly and sufficiently saturated. When asbestos and other particles are being removed, the layer of foam bubbles serves as a barrier to keep them confined.

When a particle pierces the foam bubble, it explodes and collapses around the impinging particle. This prevents the asbestos and other particles from escaping into the air by completely moistening them. The layer of foam, which completely occupies the region across the surface of the object being cleaned, contains, and captures asbestos and other particles.
