The Georgia Environmental Approach

For years, Georgia Environmental has led the way in the removal of asbestos-containing materials with its cutting-edge methods. We developed and use a patented removal method known as the “FiberstopTM Foam Containment System.” Or “The Georgia Environmental Approach”. The Georgia Environmental Approach is covered by United States patent numbers 7,445,676 and 7,285,172. Here’s our approach:

We use a wet removal method recognized by the EPA, the Georgia Environmental Approach routinely produces working conditions that are far below the PEL and EL. Most asbestos-containing materials can be removed without the hassles, costs, or need to use containment systems with negative pressure or long-term building shutdowns.

Our asbestos removal is significantly more economical and less disruptive thanks to the Georgia Environmental Approach. We use foam that is applied to all the material’s surfaces, making sure that it is properly and adequately saturated, to prevent asbestos fibers from becoming airborne. The layer of foam bubbles acts as a barrier to keep asbestos and other particles contained during removal.

The foam bubble bursts when a particle pierces it and collapses around the particle. As a result, the asbestos and other particles are thoroughly moistened and do not escape into the air. Asbestos and other particles are contained and captured by the layer of foam, which completely fills the area across the surface of the substance being cleaned.
